About Google AdWords
Google™ is the most popular 'search engine' in the UK, Europe and USA currently.
As such, millions of people use Google™ in a number of different ways, although in the main, they use Google™ to find information or source a product or service.
If you consider that Google™ is the first place people go nowadays when searching for something (as opposed to Yellow Pages™ or Newspapers and Magazines) you can begin to understand the importance of appearing within the Google™ search results for words or phrases relating to your website or business activities.
The harsh reality for any website owner or business owner is, if you are not visible on Google™ you need to do something about it sooner rather than later.
Google ADWords
Sponsored 'paid for' advertising.
Sponsored Results generally appear down the right hand side column.
Only appearing in 'natural search' results only can reduce your website traffic by up to 50% on Google alone* Source: Google
Google have developed a 'pay per click' advertising system, which means you only pay for advertising as people 'click' your advert.
As the ad is directly linked to your website, it can bring targetted visitors to your site, giving you the opportunity of opening an enquiry or closing a sale.
Whilst Google ADWords is a very fair and attractive medium for advertising, it can prove very expensive and non-responsive if you don't completely understand how it all works and comes together.
Rest assured, with the right help and guidance, every business can properly test and evaluate AdWords, prior to making any long term comittment, so please feel free to call us on 0800 009 3484 or email us at info@seocornwall.com

Whilst my focus currently would be Google, there is still mileage in appearing in the above search engines or directories. I generally find the traffic amongst the other search engines and directories should grow well alongside Google and needs very little attention.
